First Day of School in Dover, MA

Today we started school in Dover, MA!  Loren is in 7th, Emily 5th, Holden 3rd, and Ashley is in full day Kindergarten!  It was hard sending them b/c I felt their fear.  They were strong though!  Russ gave them wonderful back to school blessings that made me confident in the year.  They will do great if they remember to pray and trust in the Lord!

Indian Burial Grounds

Now that the kids are off to school Josh, Mason, and I have a lot of time on our hands.  I finally can run!  The other day I ran to a graveyard.  I love to see the old graves.  Their stones are so thin and tall.  I'm amazed they are still standing.  Some have fallen over, but most are still up.

My view of a spot I was running in.  I love the clock!  It's Wellesely College's campus.

Bruce Springsteen

We were lucky enough to go to Bruce Springsteen concert!  The Ainge's had a box and invited us and some others from church to go.  I didn't know a ton of his songs, but it was nice going with Russ and dancing.  The seats were really fun!  We've never sat in box seats before!

Hanging around the gardens!

This summer has been a lot of fun just on the amazing property we are "sharing" with Mass Horticultural Society.  The kids go on walks, roller blade, bike rides, swimming, boating, fishing, and some fun wildlife sitings too!

This is a pond in front of the mansion.
I love the Mason is screaming and they are smiling.

Swimming with the dog in the Charles River.
Mason was playing in my flowers and I though they were cute pics.

We see foxes every so often and they will just lay there for you to see them!  We feel so blest to be here.

Plimoth Plantation

I forgot to post these with a previous post about out trip to Plymouth.  We enjoyed the plantation!  It was a cute way to see what it was like back then, and to see the Native Americans that still live there.

                                                               burning out a canoe.

American Girl!!

Oh my goodness this was so fun!!  Grandma Fisher took Emily, Ashley, and I to the American Girl store in Natick.  It was the most adorable thing.  Their dolls got their hair done, Emily got her doll's ears pierced, and we got shakes at the restaurant they have.  The girls were in love!  Grandpa stayed and watched the boys while we were gone.  I can't forget to mention that.  :)  Thanks Grandma for a wonderful time!

Salem Witch Trails

This place was the only part of history that my kids were mezmorized with!  That is such a sad and really creepy part of history.  I've never seen Emily pay more attention and actually read the plaques that described the timeline and what happened.  Beyond that the town was kind of fun.  Witches walking around in August was exciting.  We even went through a haunted house.  Well the brave ones did.  Sadly I never got any pics with Russ, his Dad, or his Mom, but they were there.  We had a great time!
